Fall

We all fall like rain
we, awfully alone
today,
don’t know
where we’re
going to. Save you?
Are we going to save you?
No.
We all fell
we all felt down.
If we washed your feet
and weighed you down
we would still be
ships turned
out from the harbor
heading out to sea.
The wind will die
down sooner or later.
You’d be
more free without me.
